FAQ

Allow us to correct some misconceptions and set the record straight ...
  • SHOPPEContrary to popular assumption, our shoppe is not an antique store nor thrift shop (although we do love antiques!) Our merchandise items are generally new or have been embellished in a meaningful way
  • BE A VENDORDisplay etageres, bookshelves, wall space, and our large window are available to creators to purvey their wares
  • ARTIST TRUNK SHOWS & AUTHOR SIGNINGSNot only do we welcome creative folk to celebrate and share their work, but we offer promotional packages to get the word out
  • SPACE USE—Our studio area seats #30 comfortably and is available for classes, private events, meetings, etc. Click here for celebrations
  • AFTER-HOURS—Our venue is available for use from 8am until 10pm daily with "shop hours" of 10am-6pm Monday through Saturday. Thus, after-hours amount to 8-10am & 6-10pm Mon-Sat, pluss all day Sunday
  • FOOD—While our venue is not an eatery, comestibles may be brought in for consumption
  • FUNDINGBoth Whimsicalitea Arts and Studio 14 are strictly nonprofit. We are a registered 501c3 philanthropy funded by donors, and all monies are put into operations, programming, and financial assistance for creative individuals
  • STAFFAll of our workers are volunteers. That means none of us gets paid. (Please keep this in mind when interacting with our heart-centered staff)
  • DISCOUNTSWe are generally not able to give "discounts to friends or family" because we have a board of directors to answer to, and they expect us to pay the bills with the monies we bring in
  • We are closed Sundays for special events, either onsite or elsewhere (or for private parties at our venue)
  • We do not have a public restroom. The village provides 2 public restrooms—one in the German Restaurant, the other in the Biergarten
  • Parking is free in either of 2 lots
  • It's true, we have a pirate on staff
