We often get asked if our studio is available for meetings and parties.
The answer is yes!
Whether you're excited to shower your friend who is having her first baby, looking for a cozy space for a retirement get-together away from noisy restaurants and bars, or your board just needs a quiet place to meet without phones ringing, we offer a relaxing environment with easy freeway access and free parking in a safe area.
STUDIO USE DURING SHOP HOURS
(Tues-Sat 11am-3pm)
Space Use: $10 per person ($100 per minimum) for 2 hours.
Feel free to bring your own fare or get Take-Away Tea from Pamela's Tea Room to enjoy at our place
ADD-ONS
Table Settings: $6.50 per person for table settings (white or black tablecloth if dining, ceramic plates, utensils, 3-tier service tray as applicable)
Server: $4 per person for server to set up & display buffet food + beverages including hot tea or coffee
White Glove Service: $2.50 per person for server dressed as maid or butler to serve each guest and pour tea. Includes cloh napkins and red velvet rope admission (in addition to 'server' fee)
Additional Time: $50 per hour (beyond allotted 2 hours) as pre-arranged
If you overstay your time without prior approval, the cost is $75 per hour, billed at the top of the hour
EVENT ENHANCEMENTS: $10-30 per person. Level up your special occasion with a custom-created theme based on your interests or fandoms. Or choose one of our signature activities such as village treasure hunts, interactive whodunnits, live immersive theater, and other delights only available at Studio 14. Party Favors: $5-10 per person for our custom-curated tokens and gifts

(This means we will close the shop for you, if during shop hours)
$500 for 4 hours
$100 per hour for additional hours as pre-arranged
If you overstay your time without prior approval, the cost is $150 per hour, billed at the top of the hour
Studio Use comes with:
Seating for approx 20 at round tables
(White or black tablecloths are standard, but we can arrange for 'colors' at a surcharge. You can also bring in your own overlays)
Onsite staff member throughout your reserved timeframe
6-foot gift/favor table (with white or black cloth)

The pesky fine print:
- Timeframes include your setup & tear down
- $50-$200 cleaning deposit depending on event
- You may bring in basic catering (pending vendor approval—all eateries in the village are pre-approved!). Contact us for permitting if your plans include a food truck (studio14@whimsicalitea.org)
- For the love of all that is holy, no glitter or confetti, please
- Nothing may be attached or affixed to our walls or display units ... or staff
- Amplification is prohibited. (That means DJs too)
- Alcohol is allowed when served complimentarily in limited quantity, as for a toast. (Sorry, no bars)
