SANGUINE—our premiere Perambulations experience

A heartbroken vampire’s reckless actions threaten to expose both the vampires and witches living among the oblivious mortals in a quiet seaside town. The two cunning groups will have to work together to find him and keep the peace. That is, if it's not already irrevocably broken(Set in the modern era, rated PG)

SHOW DATES
Saturdays at 7pm, September 27-November 1, 2025

! This is a Perambulations experience !

Our Perambulations characters not only walk among the audience and venture outdoors (as opposed to being on a stage), the cast performs scenes in different areas simultaneously, requiring part of the audience to follow one character, while others follow someone else. You may follow just one character throughout the evening or switch as you go. The choice is yours. As are the consequences.

Most of the action takes place around the village. There are benches here and there for those who’d like to sit while watching the story unfold. For those who wish to remain at our studio, there is nearly always something going on in or around our space.

To make the experience truly immersive, the audience is invited to dress in costume and play a small but key part in the proceedings. To watch every scene, guests would need to return for multiple viewings, which they may do at a discount with our binge-bundle options. Plus, show endings are known to change, so even if you think you know what to expect, you may be in for a surprise.

Showtimes run 1.5-2 hours depending on the audience. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a wrap.

All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the subject matter, we rate our show PG with a suggested age minimum of 10 years.

Perambulations experience prices are:
  • $20 general admission
  • $15 military, teachers, librarians, guests 13 & under, groups of 10+
  • $10 preview night
  • $49 3-show Bing Bundle (save $11)
  • $99 6-show Binge Bundle (save $21)
  • VIP packages are available for most shows and include everything from small show-related gifts to 1st dibs on audience participation, expedited check-in, access to our VIP area, and more
If selecting our 3-show Binge Bundle, be sure to know your show dates when you go to check out

Your Monet or Your Life — an audience-participatory Radio Play

Relieve the Golden Age of Radio in this reader's theater experience where guests can do everything from read a role (or roles) or simply help make sound effects

    Saturday, September 13, 2025
    at 7pm
    Greater Los Angeles, 1948 —

Case-cracking crime enthusiast and social darling Patrice Charleville is at it again, wreaking havoc and giving her law professor husband grey hair as she bulldozes her way into a brilliant and sinister art theft scheme — one that may cost her far more than the price of a missing Monet masterpiece.

Secret codes embedded in artwork and a safe deposit box in Switzerland add to the cosmopolitan feel of this story, set at many of the Southland’s poshest venues. Snappy dialogue, a Hollywood starlet, over-the-top characters and a dog show gone horribly wrong all contribute to the madcap romp.

$25 includes radio play & the lightest of intermission refreshments. (Translation: you won't want to come hungry)

Era or theme attire welcomed & encouraged!

All sales are final, and there are no refunds. If you're unable to attend, feel free to gift your spot to someone equally delightful.

Ta'o Qheng & Langrada classes at Studio 14

If you're looking for a gentle movement class, in a peaceful setting, join us Monday through Thursday mornings.
Our village is clean, safe, and quiet with parking in two free lots.

    Ta'o Qheng
    Mondays & Wednesdays at 10am

This elements-based combination of Tai Chi and Chi Gong offers a variety of wellness benefits and is perfect for those who don't want to "play Twister" or worry if they get down on the ground they won't be able to get back up:

Improved Balance and Reduced Falls: This is one of the primary benefits, especially for older adults. The slow, controlled movements and weight shifting enhance both static (standing still) and dynamic (moving) balance, significantly reducing the risk of falls.

Increased Strength and Flexibility: Despite its gentle nature, Ta'o Qheng builds strength, particularly in the lower body, and improves overall flexibility, range of motion, and posture.

Stiffness Reduction: It can be highly effective in reducing pain and stiffness associated with various conditions like osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and chronic back pain.

It also helps lower blood pressure and improve lung capacity. Plus, it just feels good!

    Langrada
    Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10am

This repetition-based combination of Yoga and floor Pilates relies on storytelling to keep repeated moves from becoming stale.

Increased Strength, Flexibility and Range of Motion: The slow, deliberate movements lengthen muscles and increase mobility in joints. Holding various poses (asanas) stretches the body deeply. With a focus on core muscles, this practice improves stability.

Improved Posture and Spinal Alignment: By strengthening core muscles and focusing on proper alignment throughout movements, Langrada helps correct postural imbalances and can alleviate back pain.

Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation: Its low-impact nature and focus on muscle balance make it ideal for strengthening muscles that support joints, reducing the risk of injury, and aiding in recovery.

SLEEPY HALLOWS — Our first Scavengings game

Right out of the gate, we're doing things differently. Whereas most of our Scavengings hunts involve a storyline, this Halloween-themed activity is more of a "what do you really know about the lore & legends of Halloween" game that includes a trip down Memory Lane to your own spooky season celebrations as a child.

    👻

A pesky poltergeist named Gustav is fed up with how the village is overrun with Oktoberfest festivities and no one seems to remember Halloween. He may not be able to interact directly with visitors, but he's come up with a way to get people back in the spooky spirit. Come found out what he has in store in this interactive activity that celebrates Halloween.
Join us for Sleepy Hallows to help Gustav rest in peace.
    Available September 2 — October 31, 2025
    Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm
    CLOSED SUNDAYS
(Activity involves meandering around the village visiting 4 establishments & answering about a dozen questions online. Allow 45 minutes, though you may finish in as few as 30)
$20 for up to 4 participants

Please note, as a tiny volunteer-run arts nonprofit, we are unable to offer refunds, and all sales are final. In the case of rain, we will gladly give you a voucher (and a hug) to come back at another time. We promise to try to make it worth your while.
